About Recipe Ingredient Converter
Recipe Ingredient Converter turns the measurements in a recipe into the ones you actually have: grams into cups and spoons, cups into grams, butter sticks into either, and a whole pasted recipe into grams at the number of servings you want.
Weighing flour and sugar is more accurate than scooping them, but a cup of flour and a cup of honey do not weigh the same. Each ingredient here has its own weight per cup, taken from published sources that are listed in the project notes, and the range across those sources is shown with every answer so you can see how much it can vary.
Ingredients that are not in the table, such as coconut flour or kosher salt, are left as you wrote them, not converted with the weight of a similar-looking ingredient.
How the calculators are checked
Each calculator's formulas are covered by automated tests that include worked examples and an independent cross-check implementation, and the method is explained on every tool page. If you find a wrong answer, please tell us.
